News: WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL ANNOUCES HUGE LINE UP!

The end of 2017 will be seen out in style with this years Woodford Folk Festival announcing a huge line up of amazing  artists for the 2017 / 2018 event.

This summer’s New Years bash will be headlined by the one and only John Butler with plenty of other huge acts including Kate Miller-Heidke, Montaigne, Holy Holy, The Beautiful Girls, plus Husky, The Babe Rainbow, Sampa The Great, POW! Negro.

There’s also the usual smattering of internationals including Canada’s The East Pointers, Ireland’s Breaking Trad, America’s Molsky’s Mountain Drifters and more than 200 other acts.

As always, this year’s event will feature music, dance, cabaret, circus, comedy, workshops, debate, street theatre, films, forums, visual arts, and even an entire festival just for the kids.  There will also be group yoga for those that want to limber up each morning.

And in true festival tradition make sure you hike to the top of Woodfordia Hill to welcome the dawn of the New Year with other festival – goers.

The Sunshine Coast event will run from Wednesday, 27th December 2017 til Monday, 1st December 2018.
