British duo Oh Wonder unveil the video to their new single, ‘High On Humans’. The track is lifted from the duo’s forthcoming second album, Ultralife, out 14th July via Dew Process/ UMA.

Oh Wonder are set to return to Australia for the second time in a matter of weeks, where they will be performing at Splendour In The Grass alongside the likes of The XX, LCD Soundsystem, Haim and Sigur Rós. After selling out both of their official sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne within 24 hours, Oh Wonder announced a second show for their Sydney fans which is also now sold out. Brisbane indie-pop outfit OKBadlands will be joining Oh Wonder on the road as support.

Oh Wonder: “we teamed up with our friend and director Grow Up Sad to create a video concerning a group of strangers looking for human connection. It was also an opportunity to play out some of our strange and secret fantasies.

Director Grow Up Sad explained: “Set in a not so distant, dystopian future we find a congregation of humans searching for connection. Automated and emotionless, they shift from partner to partner in subdued regiment. Although Josephine and Anthony are part of this process they are hopeful and renegade, and it’s not long before the words of Oh Wonder begin to influence the robots around them. As they feel for the first time, their imaginations run wild into fantasy – where monotony is far from sight.”

Since their original tour announcement, Oh Wonder have added a handful of new dates to the already huge run of shows that takes the band across the globe. Oh Wonder are poised to head out on world tour of now, 75 dates, including an already sold out tour of Australia. The band will perform to in excess of 100,000 fans over the duration of the entire tour.

Ultralife is both Oh Wonder’s extraordinary second album and their debut proper. Its eponymously-titled predecessor, released in late 2015, was a collection of songs they had posted online at the rate of one a month, which millions of listeners fell in love with, turning London-based Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West into reluctant pop stars.
